Through talks, performances, workshops, and interactive sessions led by these unique international musicians, artists, scholars, spiritual and cultural experts, the conference fosters dialogue around artistic expression, creativity, spirituality, our unique cultural heritage(s), and cross-cultural understanding.

Active since 2016 and run as a purely FREE event for its participants, this annual Conference has been funded by proceeds from the Balispirit Festival each year, as part of the Festival’s Community Outreach Program, as a part of Yayasan Kyasta Guna.
The Bali Conference was originally conceived by the Festival’s Co-founder, Meghan Pappenheim, who first came to Bali on a college cultural exchange program in 1992, where she studied the arts and culture of Bali and larger Indonesia. Meghan has a deep love for the cross-cultural language spoken through music, movement, and the arts.
The conference is lovingly coordinated by the creative Yuliani Supandji, who curates the event alongside Meghan. This conference is loved by every presenter & performer who has volunteered their skills over the years, and it is fiercely supported by the entire Festival team, from logistics to media.
We give a special thank you to some of the first people to voluntarily coordinate the conference in 2016:
Loly Fitri, Wiwie, and KT Joy. Since then, the conference has taken on a larger role in the fabric of the Festival, and the whole team is involved! Thank you to the Plataran Hotel, Ubud, for donating space, to Antida Music for donating equipment, and to Festival Co-founders, I Made Gunarta, a.k.a. Dek Gun & Robert Weber, a.k.a RAIO, Mr Dimaz Fauzi, Ms Noviana Kusumawardhani, a.k.a Budenovi, and I Made Andika, a.k.a Deko. A special shout-out to ISI (Institut Seni Indonesia / Indonesian Art Institute) Bali, for great continuous annual collaboration.
